Bent the pipe

While writing A History of the pipe I was lucky enough to locate Wes Myers, the former President and owner of Venturi, Inc., marketer for the pipe, THE SMOKE, and Venturi pipes for nearly its entire life span. After our initial interview, Wes said he would like to give me one of the pipes that he had kept all these years. I accepted his kind offer gratefully and he sent me this beautiful specimen. This is a real treasure in my collection.
