Emma Fine offered this very nice pipe on eBay. After some spirited bidding, it became mine. It is a much better example than the previous exemplar, so it will stay in the collection. The previous exemplar will join the small collection of pipes that I keep to smoke regularly. When an un-smoked example came my way, this one went to the Pipes for Sale page. It has been smoked very little. The tobacco chamber has no cake build-up. The mouthpiece has only very light tooth-marks. Thomas F. Carey III took a liking to it and bought it.
