The 2001 Chicago Pipe Show was, as always, a stunning exhibit of pipes and pipe paraphernalia. My friend, Jay Jones of Hermit Tobacco, had kept this pipe for me instead of offering it on eBay which is his usual practice. I was delighted to add this excellent example to the collection. When I added a color/shape un-smoked in original packaging to the collection, this one was sold to fellow collector Rick Osborn.
