The 2001 Chicago Pipe Show was, as always, a stunning exhibit of pipes and pipe paraphernalia. I met Mike Reschke there and he told me about a the pipe he had and asked if I would buy it from him. I agreed and soon it arrived. Although he was asking a pretty high price for a pipe with a replacement stem, it was in very good condition otherwise and I bought it. Since it is a different pattern from the other Bent Fashion Stripe pipes I have, I am happy to add it to the collection.
