Alan Edwards offered a lot of pipes on eBay. I did not want the other pipes and, when the auction ended, wrote and asked if he would consider re-listing this pipe separately from the others. I thus had the good fortune to get this beauty without the bother of holding an auction of my own to dispose of the rest of the lot.
