I didn't need this pipe as it turned out, having one just like it already in the collection. But when Laurie Pearson (guiwomyn) offered it at so low a price on eBay I couldn't resist going for it. Given the recent extreme bidding on eBay, I was surprised to win it. Many folks are fooled by this striping pattern and take it to be the All-American striping. However, the stripes are much too thick and are blue and orange, not blue and red. Compare it carefully to a true All-American and you will see what I mean.
