The value of pipe #588 is 25 points.
Linda Owings (grandmao2003 on eBay) offered this the pipe in a lot. I had hoped that it might be the quite rare Coral (Melon) color, but it turned out to be Federal Gold. Luckily, it is a better example of the shape/color so it joins the collection and its predecessor goes to the Pipes for Trade page. A much better example has come my way so this one now becomes one of the Pipes for Sale.
It took many years before Firmin Oliveira found the pipe and decided to have it for his own.
