As usual, Judd Perlson was at the 2005 Chicago Pipe Show. This year he had saved three pipes for me, two Apple the pipe and a THE SMOKE. They were all in pretty rough shape, but I didn't want to disappoint him - he has been so wonderful to me over the years. So I pointed out their deficiencies as collectibles and bought them. This one will go to the Pipes for Trade page and the other two will become Pipes for Sale.
Jay & Louise Jones, Hermit Tobacco, found a treasure trove of old the pipe literature, much of which I had not known of before, and traded it for this and three other pipes.
