George Vanderbush ran an auction on eBay for 4 pipes, this one among them. I found it too late to write George and ask about its color. In the photo it looked like it might be the very rare Coral (Melon) color so I took a chance and bid high to win it. Alas it turned out to be the much more common Federal Gold, but it is an improved example over the one I had in the collection. I am going to keep the former example to smoke and this one joins the collection.
